I’ve been able to whittle down quite a few duplicates and fuzzy images, however I’ve been playing around with Microsoft ICE again, and it may take a while to get ‘web-ready’ images on the go. Why? Here are some stats:

Panorama #1:

  • 10 source images @ ~1MB each
  • Microsoft ICE Panorama .png output (scaled to 100%): 26.7MB
  • Dimensions: 8797×1786 pixels

Panorama #2:

  • 13 source images @ ~1.75MB each
  • Microsoft ICE Panorama .png output (scaled to 75%): 85.7MB
  • Dimensions: 21330×1875 pixels

Oddly enough, these two panorama’s are of the same location in Jasper National Park, however they’re taken with two different camera settings (#1 using manual settings that I forgot to adjust first, and #2 using fully automatic settings).

Aside from those two image sets, I have a number of others, including my favourite – Mount Robson. Each time I’ve driven through Mount Robson Nation Park, it’s been cloudy, and the one time it wasn’t I only had a VGA camera phone. This trip, however, the weather was perfect.
